Join us for a Fun Afternoon Twitter Party with Momfluential and HollywoodHotMom this Wednesday July 25 at 12 pm

It's going to be a fun afternoon as we guest host a twitter party with @momfluential and @hollywoodhotmom this Wednesday, July 25th at 12 pm.  Join us as we discuss pregnancy, registering for baby (one of our favorite topics), cord blood banking, health and family along with some of our favorite mom bloggers and of course our MomMes and MomMes-to-Be!

As an added bonus, we will be giving away two great prize packages - a gift certificate to Diapers.com worth $100 and Cord Blood Registry CellAdvantage Package worth $2,915!

Just in case you can't make our twitter party, there will be five other twitter parties throughout the day from 10 am - 4 pm with some of our favorite mom bloggers like MomsLA, Savvy Sassy Moms, YvonneinLA, MomAngeles, DesireeEaglin and SassyMamaInLA.  Each party will feature one giveaway each of a $100 diapers.com gift card and Cord Blood Registry CellAdvantage Package.

Are you a mom-to-be thinking about banking your bundle of joy's cord blood?  Or are you just coveting the latest car seats and strollers from Britax on diapers.com?  Join us to share and you could win, and enjoy some fun momversation along the way.

Making the decision to bank cord blood is not always an easy one during the hectic and somewhat overwhelming time that is pregnancy.  There is so much to think about, so many new topics to learn about and baby gear to buy, that cord blood banking may not be the most pressing subject on your list.  However, banking your baby's cord blood could eventually save their life, the life of another family member, or improve their quality of life.  While the technology to store cord blood is well-established, the uses for cord blood are growing by leaps and bounds.  We do not know all of the uses for cord blood at this time, because they may be quite possibly endless.

I did not bank my son's cord blood, partially due to the expense, and partially because we did not have enough time to learn about all of the benefits of cord blood banking.  Hospitals often do not make it any easier, as the hospital where I had my son did not have kits on hand, and requesting one just seemed like an extra burden. However, this simple decision could potentially save or improve the quality of my child's life, and can you ever really put a price on that?

We look forward to seeing you there!

Wish I would have banked with my first instead of trying to donate. Donations don't always work out :)
