Tidy Table Tray + Flexi-Diner: Making Mealtimes Easier!

We enourage our little foodie to eat a variety of foods and explore the textures of his food at dinner time. While this combination is educational, it’s never a clean matter! Thankfully I was introduced to The Tidy Table Tray + Flexi Diner at the ABC Kids Expo back in October. For the past week we have put this tray to the test at our kitchen table and we are are pleased with the results.

The thing about our kitchen table is that we are quite attached to it. It is not a fancy antique table, but it is a famlly hand-me-down from my husband’s grandmother and we plan on keeping it in the family for years to come. For the past 18 months it’s been a challenge to keep clean during mealtime. Now that we’ve moved on to fingerpainting it’s even more of a challenge. Because the table is older, we can’t use anything adhesive on it or it strips the varnish off (a very big thank you to the disposable place mats that are used for dining out for leaving a permanent rectangle shape on our table). We’ve also tried a few different table cloths, but our little man pulls them off. The same for silicon and non-skid placemats. They simply don’t work for us.

The Tidy Table Tray - Afternoon Snack TimeThe Tidy Table Tray has been the first and only solution we’ve found for keeping our table clean during snack and meal-time. This product is a lifesaver for parents. The tray secures to the small lip of our table (yes, it works with that type of table too) and has a snap-in top (Flexi-Diner) that allows for easy cleaning. I use the Flexi-Diner top for breakfast and morning snack time and then the base Tidy Table Tray for lunch time. After lunchtime, I place both parts in the dishwasher, start the cleaning cycle and they are clean just in time for afternoon snack and dinner time.

The Tidy Table Tray and Flexi-Diner are a great solution for parents of children 12 months and up who sit in aThe TIdy Table Tray + Flexi-Diner - Breakfast Time high chair or booster seat at table height (think Stokke Tripp Trapp, Keekaroo high chair, Fisher-Price booster seat, etc). Priced at $29.99 it’s also a very affordable and portable option to keep at Grandma and Grandpa’s house for holiday and weekend visits. The tray can easily be attached to a dining table and then removed with one-hand and stored in a closet until your next visit.

For our family, The Tidy Table Tray and Flexi-Diner was the perfect solution to our mealtime mess. We will absolutely be purchasing another one for Grandma and Grandpa’s house! You can purchase the Bambinos! Tidy Table Tray + Flexi-Diner from Babies R Us.
